The end of the Battle Pass 2022 has helped millions of Dota 2 players unlock new and exciting rewards that can enrich their collections. Many esports enthusiasts are making their way back to Dota 2 after spending hours of their gameplay in Diretide mode.

Silencer is an Intelligence hero who has been gaining a reputation for having an impressive win-rate in the last 30 days. The ranged hero has a knack for shutting down enemies during battle and critical moments in team fights. You can use these strategies to help you own team fights and help your allies get easy kills in the massively multiplayer game.

Silencer – An outstanding support and
an overwhelming carry hero

Most Dota 2 players pick Silencer for his ability to support the team during the early game and dominate opponents during the late game. Silencer can prevent enemies from using their spells in the lane and deal Pure damage with his physical attacks, making the Intelligence hero a formidable hero in Dota 2 matches and international tournaments.

The ranged hero has a number of spells that can be used to prevent enemies from using their spells in team fights. The items that you purchase for Silencer can have a major impact on the outcome of battles in Dota 2.

Silencer can enter battles and gain the upper hand in tough situations to help teammates conquer their enemies. The Intelligence hero has a base attack damage of 43 – 57. He has a maximum range of 600 on his attacks, letting him take a ton of last hits on enemy creeps in lanes to farm his items faster in the game.

The Intelligence hero has a projectile speed of 900, allowing Silencer to cast his spells quickly to avoid taking increased damage from his foes. If you’re new to playing Silencer, you should take at least one level of Glaives of Wisdom at the start of the game. Silencer will gain permanent Intelligence every time an enemy hero dies around him after leveling up Glaives of Wisdom.

Glaives of Wisdom grants 2 permanent Intelligence after Silencer helps his allies kill an enemy hero. Many esports teams come together before collecting the first bounty of the game to increase their chances of getting First Blood.

Silencer can carry a few Observer Wards with him after spawning into the game to provide vision to the team at the river to alert his teammates of any enemy heroes who are lurking around the river to collect bounties.

The Intelligence hero can be a good choice for the off lane in Dota 2. Silencer has adequate range on his physical attacks, giving him plenty of distance and damage to deny enemy creeps in the off lane. He has a base armor of 3.7, letting him take reduced damage from incoming attacks from enemy creeps and enemy heroes in the lane.

Silencer can use Arcane Curse in the lane to deal damage over time to enemy heroes and slow their movement speed in battles. Arcane Curse deals an initial damage of 100 and an additional 40 damage per second (DPS) for up to 6 seconds. Make sure Glaives of Wisdom is toggled on while hitting enemy heroes after casting Arcane Curse. Glaives of Wisdom can deal up to 75% of Silencer’s Intelligence as Pure damage to enemy units. It requires 15 mana per hit and steals up to 3 Intelligence for every physical attack dealt by Silencer. The stolen Intelligence can last for up to 35 seconds. Silencer also gains 2.9 Intelligence per level, making Glaives of Wisdom a lethal ability in the game.

Nortrom can cast Last Word on enemy heroes to restrict them from using spells in battles. Last Word deals a base damage of 240 and deals additional damage based on the difference in Intelligence between Silencer and his enemies. Any enemy hero who casts a spell while being affected by Last Word will be silenced for up to 6 seconds.

Last Word has a cooldown of 10 seconds and needs 115 mana in the game. You can turn Last Word into an ability that affects all enemy units in a radius of 500 by purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter for Silencer. Aghanim’s Scepter costs 4200 gold in Dota 2. Last Word also mutes enemies after reaching level 25.

Silencer’s ulti, Global Silence, can be cast to silence all enemy units on the map. Global Silence lasts for up to 6 seconds. It has a cooldown of 100 seconds and consumes 600 mana. You can reduce the cooldown of Nortrom’s ulti by 25 seconds at level 15. Global Silence can pierce through spell immunity, making it highly effective during battles.
