Skull And Bones Gets Re-Revealed, Releasing This November

Avast! Ubisoft Singapore’s long-in-development pirate ship game has re-emerged, now with a firm release date.

Development of Skull And Bone is led by Ubisoft Singapore, with additional Ubisoft studios supporting them including Belgrade, Berlin, Blue Byte, Chengdu, Kyiv, Montreal, Paris, Philippines, Pune, Shanghai and Sofia.

The game weirdly has a new logo and font treatment, none of them looks fit in a pirate-themed game. The game doesn’t look all too different either, there are off-shore moments where you control a pirate of your own styling.

So it’s not like a pirate game in the veins of say, Sea Of Thieves, but still very similar to its initial inception, where it’s borne out of the fun naval gameplay as seen in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.

In Skull And Bone, you live the pirate life by accepting contracts (missions), gathering resources, and going to trade routes to attack and plunder the merchant ships for booty. You’ll increase your Infamy level and will get to craft and customise more of your naval fleet.

Skull And Bones supports co-op with 2 other players (3-player co-op) and you can also enable PVP to fight other pirates. The game will support cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms.

Skull And Bones promises new content, activities, stories and challenges added as free updates for all players as part of its “ambitious, multi-year post-launch plan”.

If you are looking for a game about pirate ships, then ready your crew. Skull And Bones is ready to set sail to release on November 8 for the PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
