Something for the Weekend – 29/01/22

Motorsport fans will be able to enjoy their first bit of racing in 2022 with the Formula E championship kicking off in Saudi Arabia yesterday, and the 24 Hours of Daytona beginning today in Florida.

Elsewhere, the gaming world felt a little bit quiet compared to last week with the Microsoft-Activision acquisition, but never-the-less, let’s get started!

Things are still slow to kick into gear for 2022, and Stefan provided us with two previews this week. Firstly, he went hands on with Driven to Glory, a new story mode for GRID Legends that you can check out in his video below.

Here’s what you in our community has been up to this week:

• MrYd finished off Ghost of Tsushima, added the platinum for Outriders and spent some enjoyable time with Deep Rock Galactic and SnowRunner. Outside of that, he was impressed by Mass Effect Legendary Edition but had mixed feelings for the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.
• When not playing Dreams, TSBonyman has been battling frustrations in Green Hell, but is persevering with it.
• hornet1990 is savouring his time with Mass Effect Andromeda, hitting 41% completion after an impressive 37 hours!
• Andrewww is finding Days Gone beginning to drag, but luckily a few glitches in his favour has kept his interest as he wants to finish the story.
• And last up, willbuchanan snagged the platinum in Guardians of the Galaxy… and then got three more platinum trophies in A Day Without Me, Deponia and Lost Grimoires 3. And he beat the Valkyrie Queen for the God of War platinum! One very productive week of gaming!
