Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil – Far Cry 6 players have known for some time that they’d soon have the chance to expand their base experience with the addition of some rather intriguing new content, and that would probably have been enough to have warranted a purchase of the Far Cry 6 Season Pass from the off. Now that first expansion piece is with us as we take a trip into the mind of Vaas with Far Cry 6’s Insanity.
Veterans of the Far Cry franchise will know all about Vaas Montenegro. Having been one of the main focal points of the brilliant Far Cry 3 – a game which many still see as the highlight of the series – Vaas pops up in Ubisoft’s latest to provide players with an all new story episode, one which is unlike anything that has gone before it.
Priced at £11.99 or available through the Season Pass, Far Cry 6 DLC Episode 1 Insanity will give you the opportunity to become the villain, attempting to fight back against your inner thoughts and unveiling new backstory that has never previously come to light.
It’s set in a twisted version of the Rook Islands and tasks you with picking up a host of keys, each of which will help slowly unlock the exit points of your own mind. If the chance to join Vaas doesn’t sell it, we think the utter madness it promises will.
You can grab the Insanity expansion for Far Cry 6 right now, and we’d seriously advise you to be tempted by the full Season Pass, if only as it adds in access to the brilliant Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and further opportunities to take in additional expansions a little further down the line – with the next two covering similar ideas to this but with centralisation on Pagan Min from Far Cry 4 and Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.
