Team Empire rebuild around Ghostik

CIS veteran offlane player and Team Empire old friend, Ghostik returns after three years to the organization with the goal of rebuilding the Dota 2 team.

Andrii “Ghostik” Kadyk was a part of the glorious 2016-2018 Team Empire era that culminated with a top eight finish at TI7. Through his three year first stint with the team, Ghostik brought the Empire banner to several Minors and Majors. After his departure, he played for the likes of Team Spirit, B8 and most recently Team Unique, who hold a spot in the Eastern Europe Dota Pro Circuit upper division.  So do Team Empire, who were promoted to the upper division on the back of their top two finish in the 2021 DPC.

Beginning the new season, Team Empire will fight for a spot at the 2022 DPC Majors with four new players.

Initially moved to an inactive status, Alexander “lightless” Potapenko was brought back to the active roster and will resume in the carry position. Apart from Ghostik, who will take the leadership duties as well, Team Empire welcomed aboard former B8 support player, Sergey “TSA” Timchenko, and two up and coming CIS players.
