Malaysia’s roster for the 32nd SEA Games has been revealed, with a complete mixed bag of players from the region.

With a roster consisting of almost entirely TODAK players at the previous Southeast Asia Games, Malaysia were unfortunately only able to claim the fourth place spot, as Singapore managed to secure third place. This year, for the 32nd iteration of the SEA Games, MY is looking to completely change things up, pulling in players from multiple rosters in the region as they hope to take home the gold over the likes of Indonesia and Philippines.

Announced earlier today, the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) Esports Selection Taskforce finalised their selection of players which will participate in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang category for Malaysia. The team includes players from HomeBois, TODAK, RSG Slate MY, Geek Fam, and Team HAQ, all off whom will fight together for the pride of their region at the 32nd SEA Games. The full Team MY roster is:

Muhammad Farouq Bin Abdul Patah, the Assistant Project Manager of the OCM Esports Selections Taskforce had the following to say about Team MY following their selection,

We had a challenging task in identifying the right individuals for each role for the Malaysia team. After extensive evaluations and consultations with industry experts, professional coaches, analysts, and team managers, we are confident that we have formed the best possible All-Star team for the SEA Games.”

The 32nd SEA Games will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, running from May 5 through to May 17, 2023. However, the MLBB event will take place from May 12 through to the 14, as the teams fight to become the MLBB Champions at the SEA Games.
