Team Secret’s new lineup will include Armel “Armel” Tabios and Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy as they battle to get out of Division II in the Spring Tour.

Few would have predicted Team Secret‘s fall from grace in the first tour of the 2023 DPC season, but the team had more difficulties gelling with Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan replacing Michal “Nisha” Jankowski.

It seems that The International 2022 runner-up team lost this post-TI shuffle game.

In order to prevent a complete disaster of a year, Team Secret is making some changes before the DPC 2023 Season Spring Tour.

Just four days ago Team Secret announced that both Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok and Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov have been benched until the organization finds a “fitting home for them.”

While the offlane duo had seen an astonishing 2nd place finish at TI11, Team Secret has made the decision to replace them with Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy and newly teamless Filipino player Armel “Armel” Tabios who was dropped when Fnatic closed their Dota 2 division one month ago.

With the addition of the new players, BOOM will head to the offlane position, a role he was seen practicing in pubs recently.

Team Secret is bound to play in the second division of the Western European regional league and will start their matches only in April.

 Team Secret current roster

Remco “Crystallis” Arets
Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios
Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan
Daniyal “Yamich” Lazebnyy
Clement “Puppey” Ivanov

Spring Tour

This year’s DPC is still split into three Tours – Winter, Spring, and Summer, but the schedule for the regional leagues went down from six weeks to just three. However, the two divisions of each regional league will not be played in the same time frame. Division II starts once Division I matches are over.

  • Division 1 Regional League Tournament: March 12 – April 2, 2023
  • Division 2 Regional League Tournament: April 4 – 25, 2023
  • Major Tournament: April 26 – May 7, 2023

The second Major will be held in Berlin, Germany beginning April 26, but fans can watch live at Velodrom Arena from May 5-7th.
