The Game Awards always features some kind of musical performance, and 2021’s event will be no different. Geoff Keighley and his team have somehow convinced Sting — of The Police fame — to sing us a song from Arcane. For those who might not know, Arcane is a highly rated and recently released animated Netflix show based on the immensely popular PC MOBA, League of Legends.
It’s not as bizarre a combination as you might think, however. Sting actually sings on the official Arcane soundtrack, on a song called What Could Have Been. You can have a cheeky listen below, in preparation for the live version.
