The NA VCT Challengers One Group Allocations Are Up

Riot Games has just contacted all the teams participating in the North American 2022 VCT Challengers One esports event to give them their group allocations.

Every one of these twelve teams secured their spot by either receiving a direct invite or outperforming others in open bracket qualifications. They all just received information on which group they will be competing in.

They will all be split into two groups of six teams. In group A, Riot Games officially handed invites to both 100 Thieves and Cloud9 Blue. The rest of the group includes Luminosity Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and The Guard.

In Group B, Version1, NRG, Rise, and Knights had to grab their spots through two different open qualifiers, one of which ended yesterday. Finally, invited teams Sentinels and Envy complete Group B.

The group stage takes five weeks to complete, upon which only four teams will qualify for the playoffs. Only two rosters from each group will get at winning VCT Challengers Stage One. However, Riot Games have not given any clue regarding a potential timetable for the playoffs.

In the end, the top two teams of the North American Challengers One will get to qualify for the 2022 VCT Masters. It will be Riot Games’ first international VALORANT event of the year. Although fans do not know about the location of the event, future information will probably be revealed at a later date.
