For those hoping to secure a new-gen Sony system for themselves, a friend, or loved one, there’s some need-to-know information that will increase the odds of nabbing this elusive console. US PS5 Console Restock Update

Those in the US looking to track down a PS5 today, February 9, 2022, should continue to pay close attention to Amazon. After missing its usual end-of-month drop in January, the online retailer should be restocking both PS5 disc and Digital Editions soon. Fingers crossed that the drop happens today!

Best Buy and Target are two other retailers that are worth keeping an eye on. They are reportedly collecting stock for a drop (via @Tracker_RY).

The last PS5 drops were on January 27, when both GameStop and AntOnline had PS5 bundles for sale.

For today, February 9, UK buyers are advised to monitor both Smyths Toys and GAME.

PlayStation 5 restock has reportedly been confirmed for Smyths Toys between February 4-8, according to proven reliable @PS5StockAlertUK. GAME is also reportedly planning a drop around February 8-10. It’s expected to take place on one of these days between 9-11:30 AM, so get ready.

Yesterday, Very was the place to go for PS5 systems. Both PS5 disc and Digital Edition consoles were in stock, both in and out of bundles. Unfortunately, they are now all sold out.

Ebay is also an option for those desperate to get a system. At the time of writing, the best PS5 deals on Ebay are selling at around £60-80 above RRP. A lot of these deals are listed as “Used” or “Refurbished,” so they won’t be brand new. Do check with the seller about warranty information and whether or not the system has been opened.
