Top-Down Shooter Slaycation Paradise Release Date Confirmed

Publisher Merge Games has announced that its tower defense game with isometric graphics, Slaycation Paradise, will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam on August 18th.

Those who want to try out Slaycation Paradise before its launch can download the free demo version of the game on Steam. The upcoming action-indie game will also include partial controller support, which means only some parts of the game can be played with a controller.

Slaycation Paradise is a single-player, top-down shooter game in which players will explore new destinations filled with monsters. The game aims to create a real action experience with fast-paced combat and heavy weapons such as a flamethrower, shotgun, and magic wands. Additionally, players will have to set up their defense strategy to survive the overlapping waves of zombies. The developer team warned players that it includes violence and sexual content.

As we can see from the trailer, there will be various enemies and bosses that players will have to overcome as they explore its multi-dimensional apocalyptic tours. Moreover, players will unlock new destinations, weapons, and upgrade perks that can be used to strengthen their character by collecting club rewards.

Each player will have a “Construction Assembly Turret” kit, allowing them to deploy defense structures at any time. Slaycation Paradise is essentially a survival game that blends dark humor and base-building elements to offer a unique shooter experience compared to its counterparts.

Slaycation Paradise will be Affordable Acquisition’s Debut Game

Players should keep their expectations in check as Slaycation Paradise will be the first product of developer Affordable Acquisition. However, they will collaborate with Merge Games, the indie studio best known for its free-to-play games on mobile devices.

You can find the official system requirements on its Steam page. Players will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 to run the game properly. Staycation Paradise will launch for Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, and PC on August 18th. Lastly, the physical version of the game will come out on September 23rd.
