Touch Detective: Rina and the Funghi Case Files

Original: Success Corporation and Beeworks have revealed Touch Detective: Rina and the Funghi Case Files (Osawari Tantaei Ozawa Rina: Rina to Nameko no Jikenbo), a collection of Touch Detective games for Switch. A release is set for October 6, 2022 in Japan.

Touch Detective, Touch Detective 2 ½, and Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? will be included. Funghi the Escaper and Funghi the Interviewer, additional content made for the smartphone version of Touch Detective, will be available as well. Fans will also be able to check out an encyclopedia featuring over 500 digital materials including initial artwork, rough sketches, character images, and more.

Touch Detective: Rina and the Funghi Case Files will bring back touchscreen controls while improving operability. All of the action will now happen on a single screen as well. In some instances, there’ll be improved graphics. This also marks the first time that Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? will be on a platform other than 3DS.

Thus far Touch Detective: Rina and the Funghi Case Files has only been announced for Japan. There are also no plans to support English with the initial release. If we do end up hearing about a western launch later on, we’ll let you know.
