Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is a cool new PvPvE battle royale game that adds a certain twist to the genre. There are different mechanics that reflect the vampire aspects of the game. If you are new to the Vampire games or the battle royale genre then there are a couple of things that are worth knowing. In this Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt guide, we are going to give you some tips and tricks that will help you secure some wins.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Tips And Tricks

The following are the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt tips and tricks that we recommend keeping in mind:

Avoid Attracting Attention

As a vampire, you need to avoid detection and stick to the shadows. While you can walk amongst humans, you should not use your abilities near them otherwise you will attack attention towards yourself and you do not want that.

Bloodhunt Tips

We recommend staying away from civilians when possible. Sticking to the roofs can allow you to traverse the map quickly without raising alarms. If you are detected then you will be visible to other players. Expect to be attacked when that happens.

Avoiding Stuns When Landing

If you drop from a high building then you will be stunned for a short duration of time when you land on the ground. This creates a lot of noise as well. You can negate these effects by pressing the crouch button just before you land.

Wall Running Is Not Faster Than Running On Ground

Running on walls looks cool but note that it is not faster than running on the ground. Plus, it is not going to protect you from players that have good aim.

Use Heightened Vision

Heightened Vision shows points of interest and items that you will need in order to survive. This will highlight weapons, consumables, and NPCs. We recommend using this as much as possible and doing this as soon as you load into the map in order to plan what you are going to do next.

This will allow you to get your hands on some weapons and items before you are noticed by other players and need to fight.

Make The Most Of Your Archetype

These are like classes that you can pick. Each one has unique abilities and there are 6 Archetypes to choose from. Brute and Vandal are offensive classes while Saboteur and Prowler focus more on stealth.

Try them all out to get a feel of what they have to offer and once you pick the ones that you like, make the most of the abilities that they have to offer. The Muse, for example, can create a healing field to buff the player and allies during a fight.

Know The Risk And Reward Of Dealing With The Entity

The Entity is an elite group that is out to hunt you and your kind. Their checkpoints are marked on the map, so you can avoid them if you want as they are very challenging.

Beating them does reward you with high-tier loot which could help you win. So there is a risk and a reward when it comes to taking on The Entity.

Do Not Neglect Mortals

While we do recommend avoiding using your abilities around mortals, you should not neglect them entirely. Drinking mortal blood is going to heal you and buff your abilities.

A mortal hanging out alone or lost in a street can be good pretty. Just be sure not to be seen drinking blood otherwise you will be hunted by other players.

Bring Back Dead Allies

You can revive friends that have been knocked down, but there is a way you can bring friends back from the dead. You will find white crosses surrounded by circles on the map. These are points where you can revive members of your team even if they are dead.

Look for a white aura and interact with it in order to bring your friends back into the fight. It is worth mentioning that you are going to be open to incoming attacks while you are reviving. So while there is a huge reward, there is a risk of being ganged up on as well.

Keep A Versatile Loadout

You have two slots for ranged weapons and one for melee weapons. You can use the ranged slots for close to medium range and long-ranged weapons and the melee slot for close encounters.

This means that you do not have to pick one over the other. You can easily have close-range, mid-range, and long-range weapons in your loadout and that is what we recommend going with.

Vampires Cannot Cross Running

The game actually takes this seriously. Do not try to swim in the Vltava river otherwise, you will die. It is as simple as that. No swimming.

These are some tips and tricks that should help you win in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt.
