Velocity Gaming announce CS:GO open tryouts

Velocity Gaming on Twitter have announced a tryout event for their forthcoming planned-CS:GO roster. So far they have updated the community with a Google Form which revolves around a predefined set of pointers one must qualify in order to have their form processed further to the tryouts when they open.

VLT Gaming, is well known for its Valorant roster in India and are currently playing at the VCL

What really contributed to the buzz was their recent additions to their Valorant roster, Domagoj “Doma” Fancev and Adam “ec1s” Eccles.

Currently there exist no Indian Organizations who own a full fledged CS:GO roster apart from some bootstrapped mid to base-tier ones who are actively looking to seize an opportunity of having acquired. With VLT planning to enter Counter Strike, they might directly play their inaugural event in Counter-Strike : 2 when it launches in June of this year.

Given the fact they are now expecting responses through their forms to having officially signed and finalized their playing five, Valve would have already shipped CS:2 to their pre-existing players from CS:GO, their soon to be older iteration of the game.

Below are the pointers, the players need to acknowledge and verify before they opt-in for the tryouts :

  • Players opting for the tryouts should be 18 or above.
  • They should have past professional experience
  • A personal set-up is a must until they get flown down to the bootcamp.
  • They should be ready to travel for events and LAN tournaments.
  • An Indian citizen is preferred and would have the top priority.
  • Who can fill the form? INDIVIDUALS / TEAMS – 5 man/4 man/3 man / DUO’s .

If you have any past professional experience and are looking to sign-up for VLT’s Counter-Strike roster, feel free to fill out the form here
