BLAST Premier: Spring Groups Stage is done and dusted with three teams already locked in for the Spring Finals and nine more heading to the knockout stage for a shot at grabbing the remaining slots.

Those who fished first in their respective group and thus are now locked in for the Spring Finals are Team Vitality from Group A, FaZe Clan, winners of Group B, and G2 Esports who prevailed in Group C.

A total of 12 teams fought through the group stage but not everything is lost yet for those who failed to make it to the top of the groups. The remaining nine teams are heading beginning today, January 27, to the play-in stage bracket where they are seeded based on their group’s result.

At the end of the play-in matches, three more teams will join the fray at BLAST Premier: Spring Final. Heroic, OG, and NAVI will start the play-in from the second round of the bracket while the action kicks off later today, at 15:00 CET with the North American derby Evil GeniusesvscompLexity Gaming.

The remaining six partnered teams that will fall short in the play-in stage will head to the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown in April. BLAST will host two editions of Showdowns, one in Europe and one in NA with finals slot up for grabs in each. The partnered teams will fight in Showdown against competitors coming from open qualifiers.

BLAST Premier Spring Final will run June 7-11 with a total of eight teams that earned their spot in the $425,000 tournament.
