Consistently phenomenal and match-defining play for Nigma Galaxy resulted in ANa running away with the HLTV Award for Women’s Player of the Year. She was far and away the difference-maker in helping her team to title victories throughout the year, and ended the year averaging an incredible 1.39 rating, 1.46 impact, and 0.51 DPR over 20 maps.

FaZe edged out the award for the best team of 2022 thanks to a superb first seven months of the year. The European combine won PGL Major Antwerp as well as secured title wins at IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, and ESL Pro League Season 16. Despite cooling off toward the end of 2022, Finn “⁠karrigan⁠” Andersen‘s men were far and away the most dominant team for the majority of the year, earning them the award over runner-ups Natus Vincere, and a late-stage entry from G2.

Nigma Galaxy dominated the women’s CS:GO circuit in 2022, outclassing the competition and picking up a plethora of titles in the process. The team took home three big trophies at ESL Impact Season 1, ESL Challenger Valencia, and ESL Impact Season 2, beating FURIA fe in the grand final of all three tournaments for a superb calendar year.

The HLTV Award Show presented by 1xBet is slated to kick off at 18:30 at the Space Arena in Stockholm, where nearly 300 notable guests are in attendance to celebrate some of the best Counter-Strike had to offer in 2022.

On top of six HLTV- determined awards, six role-specific awards as voted by a panel comprised of professional players, on-air talent, and HLTV writers will be distributed, with the complete formation adding up for a seventh award — the best five-man lineup of the year.
