WePlay Academy League Season 5 Fantasy game now live

WePlay Academy League Season 5 is set to star on July 25, giving Counter-Strike fans something to watch during the tournament break. The online event will host 14 academy teams fighting for $100,000 as the next generation of players show off their skills.

As usual, the tournament will be accompanied by a new edition of the Fantasy game, allowing players to compete in the HLTV x Roobet League for skin prizes. This is a non-seasonal version of the game, meaning it will not contribute any points to a leaderboard.

MOUZ NXT will be looking to make it five trophies in a row

There are some things to keep in mind. Firstly, as the round robin groups contain an uneven number of teams, not all squads will compete in every round, meaning players will not earn points in the two rounds they are set to skip.

Secondly, as Young Ninjas and PROSPECTS are yet to announce their new rosters, they will not be featured in the Fantasy game until their official lineups are revealed.
