We’ve uncovered what Pokemon UNITE plans to do for Black Friday this year.
It looks like Pokemon fans won’t have to settle for merchandise deals and sales from their favorite retailers after all. According to popular community news site, Serebii, and the Pokemon UNITE Japan Twitter account, the game will host a Black Friday sale tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 26, featuring trainer clothes. It will also add a new holowear to the game for those who aren’t ready to let go of the spooky season just yet.
Here’s what we know about the deal.
A Black Friday sale was originally announced on Twitter through the verified Pokemon UNITE Japan account early on Thursday, Nov. 25. According to the tweet, the sale will begin at 9:00 JST on Friday, Nov. 26 and run until 9:00 JST on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
For trainers in the United States, that means the sale will likely start at 7 p.m. EST through to the same time on Dec. 2. That’s nearly a week where fans will be able to deck out their trainer avatars using the clothing they wanted to purchase but couldn’t previously afford.
A new “Masked Style” Gengar holowear and “some trainer fashions” will be sold at a discounted price. However, the exact discount has yet to be disclosed. It is also unclear if the sale is regional or global.
We recommend trainers keep their eyes on the verified Pokemon UNITE accounts as well as their trusted news sources for more information as it arrives.
