Silky Sand is similar to Deep Brine in Slime Rancher 2. It is a water jet but the water looks more like mud and it is found off of the first island. I found mine in the Starlight Strand which is the south area from the island you start on.

I don’t have all the map for this area but you can search here and on the beach to find some of the water geysers. I ended up leaving with 20 pieces by the time I search around this small starting spot for the Starlight Strand. Keep your eyes open and don’t get greedy. Check near the water because that is where I find them the most.

You will also need to get some Rock Slimes so be on the look out for those are you are going through the area. Snag as many as you can and get them into a pen so you can start getting their Plort.
