Where to find the Charged armor set in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features more armor sets than ever before. Although you can safely ignore a lot of the gear, other sets are practically mandatory to reach the game’s end. Here is our guide explaining where to find the Charged armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – where to find the Charged armor set

Late in the game’s campaign, you are instructed to find a sage you had no way to know even existed. We have written a guide explaining where to find the Fifth Sage that provides an overview of the steps you need to take along the way.

Partway through your search for the sage, you receive a riddle relating to an island in the sky. To reveal that island, you must wear special gear and make an offering. To find the Charged armor set the riddle references, explore three caves near Dracozu River.

Charged Shirt

Start your search by meeting Tauro in some ruins at Dracozu Lake. His camp is nearby. You should see his unmonitored campfire if you approach the area from the Spring of Courage just to the north.

When you meet with Tauro in the base of the nearby tower, he references a treasure chest nearby that he can’t open. It rests on the nearby ledge in the room where you meet him. Open the chest to receive the Charged Shirt. You now need only two more pieces to complete the set.

Charged Trousers

Exit the cave and start south along Dracozu River. As you travel, watch the shore on your right, which is the west side of the river if you view the map. You should come upon a glowing opening doorway. This is especially obvious at night.

Break some rubble to pass through the doorframe and enter a cave. Hopefully you brought a stone hammer or similar tool. Inside, you’ll find the Charged Trousers in a treasure chest on the high ledge. The location of this chest is indicated in the above map screenshot.

Charged Headdress

Continue along the river from there. The final piece is in a room on the river’s left side. If you look at your map, it’s to the south of the river. Unless you have crossed already, you’ll need to make the crossing near some enemies attack with electricity. If you have the Rubber Armor set, this would be a good time to have it equipped.

To access this chamber, chop or burn away some vines. Then open the chest and complete your set. Equip the entire set and travel due west, past the river’s end. You’ll soon reach a chamber where you can offer a Zonai Charge at an altar to continue your quest.
