Valkyrie is arguably the single best legend in Apex Legends because of her position as an all-rounder compared to other legends. Her kit is very well balanced and gives her the tools to deal with most situations players find themselves in. She has many strengths and very few weaknesses to compensate for them.
Valkyrie’s jetpack provides her with some of the most versatile movement in the game. She is able to quickly gain a height advantage, rotate over barriers or across gaps that other legends may not be able to cross and escape a bad situation by flying to areas that very few other legends can reach. It is her strongest tool for both self-preservation and positioning.
Valkyrie’s tactical ability will force most players out of cover if properly placed. The volley of missiles launched from her jetpack cause a long lasting stun that reduces an enemies movement speed and lowers their sensitivity.
Valkyrie’s Skyward Dive ultimate is her most impactful ability because it brings something to the table that no other legend can. She is the only legend that can redeploy the entire team from any location without a roof. This is especially powerful on the new Storm Point map where redeploy beacons have almost been entirely replaced with Gravity Cannons.
