Wild Rift Sion Leaked

It’s been a rather slow year for Wild Rift champion releases. The most recent Pyke and Nautilus released quite some time after their predeccesors, making for some rather slow meta progression. And with no news for other champions officially revealed quite yet, the community has simply been patiently waiting. Thankfully, Wild Rift Leaker Chowz discovered Wild Rift Sion in some data leaks. Here is everything known so far.

Analysis

Definitely take this information with a grain of salt. This is by no means an official announcement of the champion, but is instead a speculated guess based on some relatively strong evidence. According to Chowz on Twitter, there’s been an announcement regarding Wild Rift Sion release date for the Chinese server’s PBE. For those unaware, PBE stands for Public Beta environment. In other words, the evidence for Sion’s inevitable release for Wild Rift is rather strong. Why else would they be testing Sion in the PBE?

For those who don’t know, Sion is a tank champion that excels at running it down. Now, that sounds a little troll, and honestly, it kind of is. The champion revives momentarily after death, gaining faster movement speed and attack speed. This allows him to run turrets and enemies down post death, almost rewarding Sion for dying.

In Conclusion

Once again, take the information presented here with a grain of salt. There’s no official release date or time schedule for the champion’s debut. Since they’re still testings aspects of the new champion, there’s a chance that they may run into huge issues that could either delay the release or even cancel the drop. Though this is unlikely, it’s best to just be aware of the risks that come with trusting sources, such as Chowz. He is reputable data miner in the Wild Rift community, but even then, this is in no way an official confirmation of champions, such as Wild Rift Sion.
