The Overwatch 2 beta coming to consoles is a pretty monumental deal for console players. Previously players on the PS5 and XBOX had to wait for their turn to get the unique additions to Overwatch. Console players couldn’t gain access to the first initial Overwatch 2 beta week, but now they will have a chance to play at the same time.

The Overwatch 2 beta begins June 28, but players need to sign up on June 16 to secure their spot. With the beta only a few weeks away, it will be an exciting time for Overwatch 2 fans. The development team appears to be much more vocal about changes they are aiming to make, even mentioning they are looking to adjust some supports to make the role feel new for players. Between now and June 28, players should be on the look out for more communications leading up to the beta.
