Even at the start of the summer, there’s a small chill in the air. The Snow Moon skins are headed to the PBE client, and it looks like only a few champions are the lucky recipients of the latest skin drop. The League of Legends Twitter account revealed the latest skins early on Tuesday June 6. Caitlyn, Illaoi and Kayn look to be the three featured champions for the Snow Moon skins.

Each of the new cosmetics feature a brand new backing animation, as well as new animations for their abilities. Illaoi and Cailtyn appear to have some more uniqueness in their skins than Kayn, with the tank-Kayn looking a bit similar to his base line skin. Though this clip may not serve the skins justice.
The new skin for Illaoi comes off the heels of her Legends of Runeterra reveal. Illaoi recently entered Riot’s popular CCG and it looks as though Riot are giving Illaoi another potential cosmetic option for the champion inside Legend’s of Runeterra. Fans will have to wait and see if that becomes the case.

The Snow Moon skins give each character moonlit glow to their model and abilities. It looks like the Snow Moon skins are a little different from the Lunar-line of cosmetics. Maybe the goal is to have moon-based skins without necessarily being tied to the conflict between the Lunar skins and the Dawn skins. Either way, the latest skins for these champions look like they will be welcome additions to their wardrobe.
