The Wisdom Collegiate Contender Series will be broadcast remotely between October 8th-9th.

Fans will be able to watch the event for free at Wisdom Gaming Studios in Minnesota, where Wisdom is headquartered. Tickets for an ‘up close experience’ with casters for the series, at the Wisdom Gaming Studios sound stage, will be available for purchase.

Casters for the weekend include prominent Rocket League talents Adam ‘Lawler’ Thornton, Isaac ‘Turtle’ App and Thom ‘F.’ Badinger, who will cast on-site at the Mall of America in Minnesota.

Wisdom Gaming has previously been active in scholastic esports at the high school via its Minnesota Varsity League (MNVL). The Wisdom Collegiate Contender Series marks its first endeavour at the collegiate level.

Jaycie Gluck, Senior Vice President at Wisdom Gaming, commented: “Championing esports on a scholastic level is ingrained within Wisdom’s DNA. We’ve done this with the Minnesota Varsity League at the high school level, and are thrilled to be expanding our efforts to the collegiate circuit.

“Collegiate esports continues to gain popularity across the country, and the opportunity to foster this growth amongst this community continues to be an area in which we are dedicated.”

Giveaways are available for attendees and online viewers throughout the weekend, including a DXRacer Gaming Chair, a PlayStation 5 controller and Doordash gift cards.

Wisdom Gaming — which offers production, marketing, content creation and tournament organisation services — has had a busy 2022 so far.
