You Can Play Halo Infinite All Day In Palm Springs With A Personal Chef If You Win This Contest

The battery company Duracell has teamed up with Microsoft for a special Halo competition, with the winner getting treated to a three-day vacation in Palm Springs where they can play Halo Infinite all day and have a personal chef bring them food.

The Duracell Game Longer Getaway sweepstakes, as it’s called, is running now through November 10. To enter for a chance to win, you need to follow Duracell on Reddit, Twitter, or Instagram, and send in a comment about why you feel you should win the contest.

Now Playing: Halo Infinite Campaign Overview Trailer

As for what’s up for grabs, one winner will receive a five-day stay at a “luxury modern home” in Palm Springs, California, as well as access to a personal chef and housekeeping service. Flights to and from Palm Springs are paid for, while the winner also gets an Xbox Series X and a copy of Halo Infinite. Additionally, the lucky person gets $2,000 in cash and four packs of 18 AA Duracell batteries. More details about the contest can be found on Duracell’s website.

The winner will be announced on or around December 8, which is the day that Halo Infinite launches. The lucky individual will actually be informed sooner, it seems, as the winner will be flown to Palm Springs on December 6 and return home on December 11.

There is a conspiracy theory that the only reason why Xbox still uses batteries instead of a built-in rechargeable controller is due to a longstanding deal between Microsoft and Duracell. But like most other conspiracy theories, this is a bunch of baloney.
