Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel finally releases on mobile

The most unique Yu-Gi-Oh game in years is finally available — Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel. After months of waiting, the all-new four-player card game is playable on Android and the other platform.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel releases

An all new way to play Konami’s iconic trading card game, Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel is a four-player take on the series. Instead of the typical 1v1 matches, you’ll engage in four-person duels that completely change the game.

In the new game, four players are connected to each other in lanes that form a cross. Other than this, the game is similar to the original. You’ll summon monsters, play spells and set traps; there’s just a lot more stately involved.

Furthermore, a detailed single-player campaign aims to role in hardcore fans of the anime. With characters from all seven series of the beloved show, theres a lot of nostalgia to be had. Yes, we’ll be playing just to see that hottie Seto Kaiba.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel is also aiming to be a huge celebration of the franchise. On top of bringing back past characters, you’ll be able to see the series’ iconic monsters rendered in 3D with unique skills never before seen in the franchise. Interesting? Or OP?

A download link, mayhaps?

If you want to get in on the Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel hype, you’ll need to head over to the Google Play Store. Follow this link in order to download the game.

If you’re a Yu-Gi-Oh purist, maybe Master Duel will tick you off. However, for those who don’t know the difference between XYZ cards and XYZ cards (yes, there’s two types), it’ll probably be a lot of fun.

This isn’t the first time the franchise has created an all-new mode of play. The stripped down Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Links created Speed Duels, a massively popular mode.

In the future, Cross Fuel’s four-player matches may be a popular real-life mode. What do you think?
