Riot announces 2022 LCS Mid-Season Showdown will be hosted at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas

The 2021 LCS Championship hasn’t even begun yet, but Riot Games has already found a place to host some of their future tournaments. LCS commissioner Chris Greeley announced a new, fictional mockumentary-style series coming to the Paramount+ streaming service titled Players. The series was revealed in an interview with League content creator Travis Gafford published earlier today.  Players will “follow a fictional professional League of Legends team as they attempt to win their first LCS title after years of failure,” Greeley said. A League of Legends player secured a one-vs-five pentakill with Samira in the most dramatic fashion possible. Riot set to replace League+ app with Riot Mobile in October

Riot Games is “upgrading” its League+ mobile app to Riot Mobile on Oct. 4, the company announced today. The upgraded version will provide support for all of Riot’s primary titles, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra.
