Information on several upcoming games from publisher 2K was leaked on Reddit yesterday and has since been confirmed by games industry reporter Jason Schreier of Bloomberg. Cross-play for the looter shooter has been pulled from PlayStation, though the reasons haven’t yet been explained. Gearbox Software is preparing to push an update for looter shooter Borderlands 3, enabling cross-platform play across all platforms, but it seems that’s not going to happen as planned after all. Apparently, it’s an “immersive core” game. Take-Two announced plans to develop a new franchise from Borderlands‘ Gearbox Software in the company’s earnings call today, according to VGChronicle.
