Vancouver Titans drops entire roster heading into 2022

For some Overwatch League teams, a total rebuild is the only way towards future success. As an organization, Vancouver Titans has little choice but to lean into this idea after its 1-15 record in the 2021 season. The team will part ways with its entire roster heading into the 2022 season, according to an announcement from today. This includes DPS players Jiri “LiNkzr” Masalin, Dalton Bennyhoff, and Kim “Teru” Min-ki, as well as tanks Moon “ChangSik” Chang-sik and Nathan “frdwnr” Goebel and supports Anthony “Fire” King and Randal “Roolf” Stark.  

PGL Stockholm Major talent lineup revealed

PGL has unveiled the broadcast team that will bring fans the action at the Stockholm Major, the first CS:GO Major in over two years. Fans will see a lot of familiar faces, including some people who haven’t been working at CS:GO events too much lately. Richard Lewis will be the host of a Valve-sponsored event for the first time since the ELEAGUE Boston Major in January 2018. The Florida Mayhem’s 2021 Overwatch League season may be over, but the team is upgrading its content crew to keep fans entertained throughout the offseason.  Florida has officially added popular Overwatch streamer Flats to its content creation roster, the team announced today. Flats is known for his fun, positive streams and main tank gameplay. Washington Justice, Toronto Defiant advance in Overwatch League 2021 play-ins

Two high-stakes, single-elimination play-in games officially kicked off the Overwatch League postseason today. During play-ins, six West Region teams and three East Region teams will be fighting for the final three slots in the official double-elimination playoff bracket, which will begin on Sept. 21.  Before they can secure those final spots, though, teams have to take down their opponents in the do-or-die play-in matches.
