Beyond the Dollar

The global economy is at a crossroads with the US dollar’s future as the world reserve currency facing fresh challenges. For decades, the stability and dominance of the dollar have given the United States significant advantages in global trade, investment, and geopolitical influence. However, as emerging economies like China and India rise in prominence, their currencies are gaining traction in international transactions, challenging the dollar’s hegemony. China, in particular, has been busy over the past few months, actively promoting the Yuan and seeking to challenge US dominance in the global

Astralis eliminate paiN; need one more win for Legends Stage

Astralis are able to stay alive for at least another day in Sweden with their 2-0 victory over paiN. The Danes will move into the fifth round of the Swiss stage tomorrow where a win would see them recover from a terrible 0-2 start and complete the reverse sweep, advancing to the top 16. However, they will have to overcome a tougher opponent than paiN or GODSENT to pull off that feat, with BIG and Spirit their possible opponents. The final Brazilian representatives in the Challengers stage paiN had a

On the decider, Nuke, paiN looked miles ahead and swept their countrymen to stay alive in Stockholm. paiN lost their two previous games at the event in close fashion, going down to 16-14 against both Virtus.pro and

Astralis send GODSENT packing and avoid early elimination from PGL Major

Astralis took down GODSENT 2-0 in the first elimination match at the PGL Major Stockholm Challengers Stage, winning Nuke 16-3 and Vertigo 16-11. With the star duo Emil "Magisk" Reif and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen performing much better than on the first day, the Danes didn't look in danger throughout the series. Thanks to defeats to Entropiq and Copenhagen Flames on day 1, Astralis are now in the 1-2 bracket and will have to win two BO3s back-to-back in order to join the likes of Natus Vincere and Liquid in the

Bringing Brazil to the Major: How 21 players fought their way to the biggest stage

The PGL Stockholm Major will have the most Brazilian representatives in Major history. At 21 players, this is 6 more than at StarLadder Berlin, the tournament which previously featured the most Brazilian players. When it comes to the top 16 stage, Stockholm has not yet passed the highest number of participants, but considering only half of those teams have been decided and we are already over halfway there, the odds are that this Major will see the most Brazilian attendees any way you slice it. But how did Brazil get
