Seattle Surge, Los Angeles Guerrillas advance in Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major

Facing elimination from the moment they stepped foot in Dallas, both the Seattle Surge and Los Angeles Guerrillas are moving on in the Call of Duty League Stage Four Major.  Seattle looked extremely strong in their matchup with the London Royal Ravens in the first series of the event, winning with a 3-1 map count. Results for 2021 Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major

The Call of Duty League is officially back on LAN. The last CDL LAN event wrapped up on March 8, 2020. And now, 466 days later, the league is transitioning from online play to LAN for the 2021 Stage Four Major. The Stage Four Major will be held at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas from June 17 to 20. All 12 Call of Duty League teams will battle it out in this $500,000 double-elimination tournament. The matchup between the Toronto Ultra and New York Subliners appeared to have all of the makings of a classic Sunday series in the Call of Duty League’s last day of matches before the CDL heads back to LAN. Minnesota RØKKR take down Los Angeles Thieves 3-2 in Call of Duty League Stage 4 group play

In the Los Angeles Thieves’ first match with both Huke and SlasheR in the starting lineup, the Minnesota RØKKR spoiled the Thieves’ honeymoon with a 3-2 win in Friday’s Call of Duty League matchup.  Minnesota clinched the win in a round 11 in game five Miami Search and Destroy in an incredibly entertaining series. Seattle Surge upset OpTic Chicago, break 10-match losing streak in Call of Duty League Stage 4 group play

For the first time since April 8, the Seattle Surge have won a Call of Duty League match. The Surge, who entered their Group B matchup against OpTic Chicago on the verge of setting a CDL record for most consecutive match losses, won both their first Control map and five-game series in over two months. The Paris Legion looked like they were on the way to their fifth straight loss after a collapse in the first map of their Call of Duty League series against the Los Angeles Thieves today.
