Shacknews Feature: Mike Tyson Interview

Sometimes life gives you strange opportunities that you had not planned for. This was the case for Shacknews on Thursday, when we received a call about a potential interview opportunity with Mike Tyson. I was invited to be part of the Facebook Gaming and State Farm's Play A Part Together FIFA livestream this week with a very special interview with Iron Mike. Now Mike doesn't really stay on topic the best, so a lot of the interview was not fit for the livestream. Luckily, Shacknews doesn't have such stringent standards

However, there's one thing that's been sorely lacking on the company's streaming platform: an in-depth look at its longest-tenured wrestler, the Undertaker. With the premiere of Undertaker: The Last Ride, that changes. The new eight-part documentary series follows the legendary Undertaker between 2017 and 2020 as the man behind the character, Mark Calaway, struggles with the realization that the

How is AI Revolutionizing the Gaming Industry?

Share... Facebook Twitter Linkedin Reddit StumbleUpon Tumblr Print email While there is much talk about the future of AI in gaming and the myriad of potential implementations, the current usage of AI in the game industry is not nearly as some make it out to be, nor is it really a massive focus for game developers. That’s not to say AI isn’t amazing technology, but it is surrounded by a lot of hype which we’ll try to dispel. While many think of AI as something that can add Skynet-level awareness

What’s Going On In Underground Casinos?

It is funny to think that, up until the 1600s, all gambling that took place anywhere in the world would have been classed as illegal. Sure, it definitely existed; however, the state was rarely involved, meaning that gambling taverns and such throughout history often weren’t the safest of places. Nowadays, of course, gambling is anything but illegal, and it actually makes up a fairly sizable portion of the tax revenue that governments depend on across the globe. Whilst pretty much all gamblers will agree that the casino conditions in the

Enjin Coin Review: Putting Gaming On The Blockchain

Enjin is a project has been growing at a rapid pace. This gaming community supports over 300,000 gaming communities, with 19 million registered gamers. In this Enjin review I will attempt to answer that by taking

The internet changed gaming forever. How’s player support keeping up?

“Gaming has changed,” I thought to myself as I slowly maneuvered past the young cosplayers crowding the halls at Gamescom, the largest gaming conference in Europe for players and industry professionals.I thought back to my childhood, and the games I grew up with. Mario and Sonic were still present, I could still find Street Fighter and Fallout merchandise, and FIFA 20 was, somewhat expectedly, huge. But that was pretty much it — the gaming universe I used to know, tucked in between massive displays of games I’ve never heard of.
