Sony To Keep Selling PSP Games on PS3 and PS Vita Stores

Weeks after announcing that the PlayStation Stores on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation Portable consoles would shut down, Sony is now walking back that policy on two out of three of those devices. In a surprising reversal, Sony has changed their mind about retiring the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Originally scheduled to be phased out on those platforms on July 2 later this year, Sony has announced today that the PS Store on PS3 and PS Vita will continue on and players will be able to continue buying and downloading games from the storefront on those consoles.Citing player response to the move and self-reflection, Sony admitted to making the wrong move and searched for a way to continue operations.

Brazilian Justice Opens Process to Ban Loot Boxes

Brazilian Justice accepted an inquiry by the National Association of Child and Adolescent Defense Centers (ANCED, from the acronym in Portuguese) to ban the commerce of loot boxes in the country. The main argument used by ANCED is that the boxes are a harmful form of gambling, which is illegal in Brazil.
