U.S. Government Takes Aim at  Riot Games, Epic Games, and Others Tied to Tencent

The U.S. Treasury’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) has asked gaming companies including Riot Games and Epic Games to provide information on security protocols, according to a Bloomberg report. Apple removes Fortnite from App Store after Epic Games lowers the cost of V-Bucks

Apple has removed Fortnite from the App Store after the game’s developer announced new payment options that allow players to buy in-game credits direct from Epic Games. In response, Epic has taken legal action and filed a lawsuit in the District Court of Northern California to end Apple’s anti-competitive restrictions on mobile device marketplaces.
