Another one of the Overwatch League’s veteran stars is hanging up his peripherals before the 2022 season. But we may see him take on a new role instead. 4 Paris Eternal players will be returning in 2022

So far, the Overwatch League “rosterpocalypse” has been full of releases and retirements. But today, the Paris Eternal is here to give fans some good news. Four of Paris’ players are returning for the 2022 season, the team announced today. Washington Justice drops Closer, TTuba heading into 2022 season

Some players integral to the Washington Justice’s 2021 season will not be joining the team during the fifth season of the Overwatch League next year.  The team announced today that it would be parting ways with DPS Lee “TTuba” Ho-sung and main support Jung “Closer” Won-sik, as well as personal coach Lee “Hocury” Ho-cheol. TTuba has been a part of the Washington Justice since 2019, often taking a starting role in the team’s DPS lineup. He previously played for Bubble Burster Gaming and O2 Blast before joining the Overwatch League.

Atlanta Reign main support Masaa enters free agency

The Overwatch League “rosterpocalypse” has been a tough one so far, with many underperforming teams letting players go in hopes of better results next season. Even some of the league’s most successful players, however, are also making changes. Atlanta Reign main support Petja “Masaa” Kantanen has announced his free agency, which begins on Oct. 9. As a free agent, he can accept offers from other teams and seek a new home on another roster. While this doesn’t completely negate a return to the Reign, he’s actively seeking a new team.
