Apex Chronicles aren’t perfect, but they’re worth revisiting

The story of Apex Legends is much like the game itself: twisting and turning, never wanting to be pinned down, and evolving into something similar, but at the same time new. Just as new legends, guns, maps, and game modes fundamentally change the way people play the game every season, Respawn continually switches up the

Shanghai Dragons parts ways with rookie DPS Develop

Underperforming teams are often the first to make offseason moves in the Overwatch League, but even champions have to refine their squad.  The Shanghai Dragons announced today that rookie DPS Chae “Develop” Rak-hoon would become a free agent during the 2021 offseason. Nintendo announced that Chris Pratt will play Mario on the big screen

It’s a me, Burt Macklin! Chris Pratt is voice acting as Mario in a feature film that Nintendo is working on with Illumination, the studio that made “Despicable Me.” Also, they didn’t tell us at Nintendo Direct who the new “Smash” fighter is. But we can’t be too disappointed, because apparently Anya Taylor-Joy is Peach, Jack Black is Bowser, Charlie Day is Luigi and recent TechCrunch Disrupt guest (shameless plug) Seth Rogen is Donkey Kong, giving me the representation I always wanted from Nintendo. Anyway, we’ll have to wait until December

Blizzard Defends Overwatch 2 Tank Role Change

OverwatchPhoto courtesy of Blizzard EntertainmentBlizzard shocked the Overwatch world back in May of this year when they announced that Overwatch 2 would abandon the 6v6 structure of the original in favor of a 5v5 one by removing one of the two tank roles. Their decision was quickly met with backlash by the fanbase, but Blizzard stuck to the 5v5 format.
