Minecraft content creator Technoblade announces he has been diagnosed with cancer

Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has announced his recent hiatus was due to being diagnosed with cancer.  In his most recent video, Technoblade confirmed that he was diagnosed on Aug. 2 after visiting a doctor to get his right arm looked at. Near the end of July, the 22-year-old began experiencing right arm soreness. Flame Fatales speedrunning event raises over $126,000 for Malala Fund

The Flame Fatales speedrunning event raised over $126,000 in support of the Malala Fund this past week. Hosted by Games Done Quick and the Frame Fatales all-female speedrunning community, the event took place virtually on Twitch and the GDQ website, with women from all over the world beating their favorite games in record time to raise money for a good cause. The group has previously hosted the Fleet Fatales event, which raised over $80,000 for charity. This year’s Flame Fatales gathering broke that milestone, with a total of $126,862.40 going

Microsoft Launches Orbis’ Flying Eye Hospital For Free in Microsoft Flight Simulator; Also Coming to Xbox

Today Microsoft is releasing something rather special in Microsoft Flight Simulator for free. An add-on that will be released in the official marketplace of the simulator will add the MD-10 operated by Orbis International, a non-profit organization working on the treatment and prevention of blindness. Said MD-10, christened the Flying Eye Hospital is a full-fledged teaching hospital that can travel around the world within the airframe of the veteran airliner. Summer Games Done Quick 2021 has delivered the hype this week. And, just before the end of its fifth consecutive day of speedruns, the event surpassed $1 million raised for Doctors Without Borders. This was the seventh-straight year for SGDQ to surpass that $1 million total, with the milestone shattered during the Pokémon Black and White race between PulseEffects and Swiftalu.
