Today Atlus released a brand new video to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Persona series. After three intense stages, only eight teams remain in the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship’s Europe playoffs. They will be competing on Sept. 18 and 19 for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and two spots at the World Championship Finals later this year. As per Liquipedia, the World Championship Finals will be held in December with 16 teams from around the world. It will be a LAN event. Activision hasn’t revealed any information about it yet, though. Another Friday meant another pair of cards was revealed from the upcoming October Pokémon TCG 25th Anniversary Collection. Reshiram will be available within the standard 25th Anniversary Collection booster packs and will be a holographic card like other cards within the set, and features the 25th Anniversary stamp. Inside the promotional booster pack will be Mewtwo EX, a close reprint of a card first released in the 2012 set Next Destinies. WePlay Holding is expanding its tournament offerings to yet another game, adding Rocket League to its schedule with the WePlay Esports Invitational.  The event, which will run from Sept. 16 to 19, will feature 16 of the top teams in the world, including The General NRG, G2 Esports, and Spacestation Gaming competing for a prize pool of $100,000.  “We’ve organized many memorable major events so far at WePlay Esports, and we finally have a chance to do another in Rocket League,” lead esports manager at WePlay Esports Anton Tokarev said.

It’s been an electric year for MAD Lions’ star support Kaiser and his hard work has helped him earn a two-year contract extension with the League of Legends team until 2023, the organization confirmed today. Since his debut during the 2020 LEC Spring Split, Kaiser and the rest of his team have only gone upward in trajectory. In his inaugural year, he helped MAD finish as a top-four team in the league in both the spring and summer, which threw the fiery rookie squad into their first World Championship appearance.
