Gen.G eliminates Luminosity from NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier

The Luminosity Gaming VALORANT roster has played their final official VCT competition this year. After falling to Gen.G in two maps in the lower bracket of the North American Last Chance Qualifier, Luminosity is the first team eliminated from the event. Both teams came out firing on Haven and went into halftime tied 6-6. Gen.G built their lead after switching to the attack side, with koosta delivering some more clutches in post-plant situations. They got up to 10-7 before an LG timeout, after which LG lost a backbreaking five-vs-two round

Sources: Bjergsen to depart TSM after 8 seasons

Bjergsen is leaving TSM following eight seasons with the team, sources familiar with his decision told Dot Esports. The Danish native who coached TSM during the 2021 League of Legends season will be testing the market as a free agent mid laner this offseason. The decision comes after back-and-forth discussions between Bjergsen and TSM team management as the team attempted to retain its former franchise player, according to sources. Bjergsen’s next destination will officially be determined when players are allowed to sign new contracts with teams on the evening of

EXTREMUM bench roster

Losing the Major spot to Evil Geniuses was the final nail in the coffin for the Oceanic roster. EXTREMUM has announced the benching of their entire lineup on Sunday, noting that the team's failure to qualify for the PGL Stockholm Major was the primary factor leading to what they described as a difficult decision. "It's been a tough week for EXTREMUM, losing to Evil Geniuses was obviously one of the worst-case scenarios, since the main goal of our organization and our team was to qualify for the Major," the organization

Vici Gaming headed home after getting swept by Invictus Gaming at The International 10

Vici Gaming will sit out of the rest of Dota 2‘s The International 10 after today’s 0-2 defeat to Invictus Gaming. VG came into TI10 as the third seed out of the Chinese region behind Major winners in Invictus Gaming and PSG.LGD. They put together a strong run, making it to the upper bracket out of groups and then bouncing back from a first-round loss to make a deep run in the lower bracket.  During that run, they beat Evil Geniuses and T1, but they just couldn’t overcome their regional

Quincy Crew to undergo “significant changes”

One of North America’s strongest and longest-lasting teams is going to look radically different come next season. Quincy Crew, whose core players have stuck together even through disbanded organizations, will likely see “significant changes” according to Jack Chen, manager for Quincy Crew. “Most of us have been together for awhile and it’s time for people to explore other opportunities,” said Chen. “There are no hard feelings, no one is being kicked, it’s just time to see what else is out there.” Its hard typing these words, but there will be

North America’s last hope at The International 10 falls with Vici Gaming eliminating Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses were one of the top teams throughout the entire 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season, finishing second at both Majors and racking up the most DPC points ahead of The International 10. But none of that mattered to Vici Gaming today, who eliminated the final North American team in epic fashion to make it into the top eight.  This was arguably the closest series that we’ve seen in the lower bracket at TI10 yet, with EG taking the first game in just 22 minutes. Many expected VG to potentially compound

Virtus Pro overcome experience gap, beat Vici Gaming at The International 10

No previous experience playing at The International didn’t hinder Virtus Pro today. All five players made their debut on the event’s main stage in the upper bracket and completed what many Dota 2 fans view as an upset against a veteran Vici Gaming squad.  This was a clash of playstyles, with VG playing composed and VP going for their usual, more aggressive drafts. And despite being punished early, the young CIS squad managed to gather themselves and win the series 2-1.  VG looked like they might have an easy time

Evil Geniuses crush Elephant, advance in lower bracket at The International 10

When star players collide, fans are usually in for a good show. That was not the case for the series between Evil Geniuses and Elephant rosters full of legendary Dota 2 players, however. Elephant just couldn’t keep up with EG once the North American team were able to establish themselves and get a few key kills, leading to a slow and meticulous beatdown that exposed all of the flaws that the Chinese team had been dealing with throughout the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season.  By the time both teams were
