Washington Justice drops Closer, TTuba heading into 2022 season

Some players integral to the Washington Justice’s 2021 season will not be joining the team during the fifth season of the Overwatch League next year.  The team announced today that it would be parting ways with DPS Lee “TTuba” Ho-sung and main support Jung “Closer” Won-sik, as well as personal coach Lee “Hocury” Ho-cheol. TTuba has been a part of the Washington Justice since 2019, often taking a starting role in the team’s DPS lineup. He previously played for Bubble Burster Gaming and O2 Blast before joining the Overwatch League.

Florida Mayhem drops 6 players heading into 2022 OWL season

One team in the Overwatch League is known for “bringing the Mayhem” and they certainly didn’t disappoint during this rosterpocalypse season.  Today, the Florida Mayhem announced that six of its players would be released from their contracts. This includes main tank Son “OGE” Min-seok, off-tank Lee “Gargoyle” Beom-jun, main support Kim “Slime” Sung-jin, flex support Kang “Gangnamjin” Nam-jin, and DPS players Lee “BQB” Sang-beom and Baek “Checkmate” Seung-hun.   Only DPS Kim “Yaki” Jun-ki remains on the roster after these releases. A dataminer may have just discovered a new Crew game in development at Ubisoft. This would be the first since The Crew 2 was launched in 2018. Two high-stakes, single-elimination play-in games officially kicked off the Overwatch League postseason today.
