How Moons of Madness Creates Fear on Multiple Levels
A good psychological horror game should have scares that linger long after you’ve put down your controller. Eerie sounds, lighting, and well-placed jump scares all contribute to creating this kind of a memorable experience, but for Moons of Madness we have also used several other methods to create a unique and terrifying atmosphere. The Red Planet First and foremost, we had to create the right backdrop. There is no hiding that H.P. Lovecraft has been a big influence for this project. His stories about supernatural cosmic horrors that inflict insanity
