Get ‘Steins;Gate’, ‘Corpse Party’, and More on iOS at a Discount for a Limited Time in the Mages Winter 2020 Sale

TouchArcade Rating: If you’ve been waiting for a discount to pickup some great adventure games on iOS, the time has come with the Mages Winter 2020 Sale. 5pb and Mages are responsible for one of the best visual novels available on iOS and one of my favourite horror games ever. The Steins;Gate series is one that I try and play on every single platform. It has been great to experience the games again on Switch after playing them on PS Vita a while ago. The Corspe Party franchise has two

Square Enix Updates ‘Chaos Rings III’ for the First Time in Nearly Four Years with iOS 13 Support and Display Issue Fixes

TouchArcade Rating:Chaos Rings III ($19.99) has sadly been the last entry in Square Enix’s incredibly enjoyable Chaos Rings series, which shockingly started out as a brand new IP created exclusively for mobile with the release of the original game way back in 2010. Even back then you didn’t see big companies investing heavily into original premium content for mobile, but in the case of the Chaos Rings series it resulted in four distinct entries that included some of the best made-for-mobile RPG’ing ever produced, and by all accounts the series

‘Dandara’ Just Got Updated with the ‘Trials of Fear’ Expansion Content for Free and the Game Is Discounted to Just $1.99 for a Limited Time

TouchArcade Rating: Dandara ($1.99) from developer Long Hat House and publisher Raw Fury is a very interesting game for me. I obviously love the gravity-defying Metroidvania platformer but the way the release was handled initially was excellent. It hit every platform including mobile at the same time and costed the same across the board. Recently, a big free update was announced for Dandara in the form of the Trials of Fear expansion. Watch the trailer for it below: The expansion has just gone live for me on iOS and Xbox

‘Castlevania: Symphony of the Night’ Is Now Available on iOS and Android as a Premium Port with Controller Support

TouchArcade Rating: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ($2.99) from Konami just had a surprise release on iOS and Android. The game that debuted on PS1 has been ported to iOS and Android as a premium game with a few additional features. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night includes the full game on mobile with its amazing original soundtrack and visuals. The iOS and Android release includes controller support and has a new continue feature. I see Game Center achievements have been included on iOS. Check out a screenshot from the port

Apple Arcade: ‘No Way Home’ Review – Show Me What You Got!

Mindless shooting in space is always fun. There’s something relaxing about killing alien ships in the middle of nowhere. It takes the fear of being stranded millions of miles away from home off your mind. Enter No Way Home, a fun shoot’em up game brought by SMG Studio, the team behind games like Death Squared and One More Line. In No Way Home, you play as Cho, the former Dutchess Start Captain. After the ship freezes for millions of years and is going to be wrecked by a bunch of

‘Stardew Valley’ iOS vs Nintendo Switch – What Platform Should You Buy it On?

TouchArcade Rating: When Stardew Valley ($7.99) was announced for mobile, I was very excited. I already loved the game and had played it for a while across PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch with the Switch version getting the maximum playtime of the lot. When it arrived on iOS, it was a fantastic port that has only improved over time. As with most indie games, the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions are on the spectrum for portable gaming fans. I already compared Dead Cells on iOS and Nintendo Switch and decided

‘Company of Heroes’ for iPad Review – Excellent Portable Real Time Strategy

TouchArcade Rating: Originally released on PC back in 2006, Company of Heroes ($13.99) is now on iPad thanks to Feral Interactive. The real time strategy classic has been adapted for touchscreen with two control options and a plethora of enhancements in its newest incarnation on iOS as a premium release. Since this is a Feral Interactive port, expectations are very high given their superlative track record. I’ve been playing Company of Heroes on a first generation iPad Pro (9.7") over the last week and the conversion is mostly everything I

‘Repulsive’ is a Modern Take on ‘720º’ with Hoverboards, Coming March 20th and Available for Pre-Order Now

After releasing their excellent Crossy Road-like dungeon crawler Skeletomb (Free) way back in 2015, developer Punk Labs graced us with two more winners in subsequent years. There was the crazy wavelength matching game Kerflux (Free) in 2016 and the equally crazy if not crazier Raster Prime ($2.99) in 2017. Since then though it’s been crickets city from this promising studio. So I was both surprised and elated to learn today that Punk Labs has a new project coming out really soon, and it looks like those few years of silence
