A few more free Pokemon are up for grabs for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Players who transfer a monster from either title to Pokemon Home will be able to claim the three Galar starters: Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. What makes these particular Pokemon special is that they each have their Hidden Abilities, which up until now have not been available in Sword and Shield. Grookey's Hidden Ability is Grassy Surge, which sets up Grassy Terrain as soon as the Pokemon enters the field. Scorbunny's is Libero; this changes the Pokemon's

Best Xbox One Deals (June 2020): Deals On Consoles, Games, And More

With Microsoft set to launch the Xbox Series X later this year, 2020 will be an interesting year for the company. When it releases (we don't know the exact date yet), the new console will be the company's flagship gaming device, but Microsoft isn't leaving the Xbox One behind. The Series X won't launch with exclusive games, which means your Xbox One X or S is good for at least a year, since it'll play the latest first-party Xbox games. That makes some of the deals going around right now

Konami Wants To Publish More Western-Developed Games, Starting With Skelattack

Konami has recently expressed an interest in expanding its portfolio by publishing more games by Western developers. This new initiative began on June 3 with the release of Skelattack, an indie platformer developed by Californian studio Ukuza. However, Konami doesn't just want to publish western indie games--the studio has expressed interest in innovative games "regardless of size." "I guess the reason we're talking about smaller titles is because the first title we announced is Skelattack, which is obviously an indie title," Konami senior European brand and business development manager Richard

SwitchArcade Round-Up: ‘The TakeOver’, ‘Depth of Extinction’, and Today’s Other New Releases, the Latest Sales and More

Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for June 4th, 2020. It’s Thursday today, and that usually means a whole mess of new releases. This week, however, it’s a bit quiet. Whether that’s because this was originally going to be the week before E3, or due to ongoing events in the world right now, or simply came about by chance, it means there aren’t nearly as many titles to look at today as usual. There is at least one really good one, though. Anyway, we’ll take a look

Will Disneyland Reopen Soon? We Have New Info

Disney's theme parks in the United States remain closed, after first shutting the doors in March due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. In fact, the only park the company has reopened thus far is Shanghai Disneyland in China. While plans for reopening them have not been announced, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are at least one step closer to welcoming guests again. According to the OC Register, the state of California has decided theme parks will be able to open once again during Stage 3 of the government's four-stage process

Here’s Valorant’s New Agent Reyna And All Her Abilities

Update: Reyna is now available to play as of Valorant update 1.0. Her two basic abilities are Dismiss and Devour, which allow her to consume a downed enemy's "life force" to temporarily become invisible and invulnerable, and restore her health, respectively. Her signature ability Leer sends out a destructible orb that obscures the range of vision of any players that look at it. This ability can be deployed through walls and barriers, which makes it quite powerful. Her ultimate ability is Empress, which grants her rapid fire for a limited

E3 2020 Replacement Event Schedule: PS5, Ubisoft, And All The Confirmed Events So Far

Like many other live events scheduled to take place this year, E3 2020 has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This marks the first time in the expo's 20-plus-year history that a physical event will not take place in June, but there will still be plenty of gaming news and announcements to look forward to over the next few months. In fact, with companies spreading their announcements out over a longer stretch of time, you won't have to race to catch everything in a week's time and can
