March Investment Recap: More Than $200M of Fresh Capital Gets Injected into the Esports Ecosystem 

During the month of March 2021, The Esports Observer tracked 23 investments raised by esports-relevant companies. ESL Australia, NetEase Announce Mobile Partnership for MARVEL Super War Esports

ESL Australia has partnered with game publisher NetEase to develop mobile esports initiatives in Australia and New Zealand for the soon-to-be released MARVEL Super War – a League of Legends–esque MOBA title for Android and iOS. Huawei Named Top  Sponsor of $420K NetEase Esports X Tournament Summer Season 

Chinese game publisher NetEase announced six sponsors for its NetEase esports X Tournament (NeXT) Summer Season, including Chinese smartphone brand Huawei.  According to the sponsor list of NeXT, Huawei Game Center will be the top sponsor in the tournament. Bicycle brand Forever and PC brand HP will also sponsor the tournament as industrial sponsors. Chinese electric vehicle brand Xiao Peng will act as a strategic partner of  NeXT.
