Niantic is rolling back the newly introduced Explorer Bonuses in New Zealand. New Zealand entered Alert Level Four, which restricts citizens from leaving their homes outside of essential personal movements, on Aug. 17, prompting the Pokémon Go developer to reinstate bonuses previously in place during the height of the pandemic. Nintendo has now confirmed that customers in the Japan region won’t be able to top-up their Wii U or 3DS eShop balance using credit cards as of January 18th, 2022.
