BLAST Premier expands into new regions for Fall qualifiers

BLAST Premier revealed details regarding the qualifiers for its Fall Showdown tournament, which will be open to over 60 countries, including Brazil and China. Teams from eight different regions will have a chance to earn spots at the main tournament in October, and also claim a $25,000 participation fee. The qualifiers will be made up of direct invites and teams from open qualifiers that will be accessible to hundreds of teams in each region. 64 CS:GO teams will be directly involved in the finals of the BLAST Premier Qualifying Series

Regional qualifiers for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown announced

BLAST has revealed details regarding qualifiers for the Fall edition of the Showdown tournament, announcing eight regions and the majority of their partner organizers that will be in charge of running the show. Events such as Nordic Masters, Latin Power, and Fantasyexpo Cup return after being a part of the Spring circuit, with new additions being the Eastern Europe qualifier (replacing CIS), and the Chinese qualifier organized by Douyu. Today third-party developers had a lot of new screenshots to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Carenado revealed more screenshots of the granddaddy of modern Cessnas, the Cessna 170B, dating all the way back to 1952. We don’t yet know when this will be released, but it’s going to be “soon.” Next is Yakushima Airport (RJFC) in Japan by Simulación Extrema. This scenic airport on one of the Ryukyu Islands closest to the coast of Kyushu should be released today, so expect it to appear on SimMarket shortly.

Today third-party developers revealed two new add-on airports coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The folks at Binersim have kept quiet for several months, and today we learn why. Following Jakarta’s smaller airport Halim-Perdanakusuma they’re now going big with the main hub of the Indonesian capital, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (WIII). While the announcement wasn’t explicit, the screenshot you can see below unmistakably portrays the richly-decorated interior of one piers of Soekarno-Hatta. The vintage classic Douglas DC-6 for Microsoft Flight Simulator by acclaimed developer PMDG is coming close to its launch, and new assets have been released. This time around we get to see new screenshots of this gorgeous propliner from beta tester cavaricooper (sources: 1, 2, 3, 4) including the iconic Namibian livery.
