NYXL releases 6 players before 2022 Overwatch League season

Before the 2021 Overwatch League season began, the New York Excelsior underwent a major roster reconstruction with the hope that rookie players could be the key to success. That plan didn’t exactly pan out, so the team is heading in a new direction in 2022.  The NYXL is moving on from six of its players, the organization announced today. Most of the Hangzhou Spark’s 2021 Overwatch League offseason will likely be spent looking for support players considering the team’s most recent roster changes.  The Spark is parting ways with DPS Seo “SeoMinSoo” Min-soo, flex support Tong “ColdEst” Xiaodong, and main supports Liu “M1ka” Jiming and Park “idk” Ho-jin, the team announced today. Guangzhou Charge parts ways with 4 players ahead of 2022 Overwatch League season

After a rough year, the Guangzhou Charge is making some tough changes before the fifth season of the Overwatch League begins in April.  The team announced today that it’s parting ways with four players from the 2021 roster. The Toronto Defiant is clearly looking to start anew before the Overwatch League swaps to Overwatch 2 in 2022.
