Evil Geniuses wins 2021 LCS Coaching Staff of the Year award

The LCS revealed its first round of end-of-season award winners earlier today and Evil Geniuses took home the honors of Coaching Staff of the Year.  The EG staff, which is helmed by head coach Peter Dun and supported by assistant coaches Conor “Artemis” Doyle and Gabriel “Turtle” Peixoto, earned first-place honors after the team finished third in the 2021 LCS regular season. Nintendo set to buy back more than $900 million in shares following profit dip

Nintendo Switch breaks 89 million units sold

The Nintendo Switch has officially moved over 89 million units according to Nintendo’s Q1, 2021 earnings report. Netflix confirms it will add games to existing subscription model at no added cost, will initially focus on mobile titles

Netflix has further detailed its upcoming entry into the games industry, confirming previous reports of adding gaming-related operations into the company’s current subscription model.  In its Q2 shareholders letter that was sent out earlier today, Netflix specifically noted that it is approaching games as a “new content category,” similarly to that of its previous expansion into original films, animation, and other programming.  At the moment, Netflix is planning to include games as part of its current subscription service at no extra cost to users, treating these titles as new films
