PUBG creator Brendan Greene officially leaves Krafron, forms PlayerUnknown Productions studio

The original PlayerUnknown, Brendan Greene, is officially leaving Krafton to pursue other ventures with a new studio more than two years after originally stepping away from development on PUBG.  Greene and his team, PlayerUnknown Productions, which was originally founded as a sub-studio under Krafton’s PUBG Corporation, are splitting from their parent company to explore “systems needed to enable massive scale within open-world games.” Under his online moniker as PlayerUnknown, Greene developed a game that became a massive success and revolutionized a genre that is now commonplace in multiplayer gaming conversations.

Heroic detail nature of documents allegedly shared by HUNDEN

LCS teases Players, a forthcoming mockumentary series coming to Paramount+ streaming service

LCS commissioner Chris Greeley announced a new, fictional mockumentary-style series coming to the Paramount+ streaming service titled Players. The series was revealed in an interview with League content creator Travis Gafford published earlier today.  Players will “follow a fictional professional League of Legends team as they attempt to win their first LCS title after years of failure,” Greeley said. The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) handed out a two-year suspension today to the former head coach of Heroic’s CS:GO team, Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen, following an investigation into claims that he shared sensitive information from Heroic’s strategy folder with an opposing team ahead of IEM Cologne in July.
